Village Center for the Arts, located at 12 Main Street, New Milford, CT is proud to announce the upcoming exhibition of local artist Christina Maschke’s captivating works, set to be on display throughout the month of April. Christina’s unique and thought-provoking pieces, in colored pencil, will be showcased in a solo exhibit that invites viewers to explore the powerful intersections of emotion, nature, and animal portraits.Christina Maschke’s work has long been celebrated for its vibrant color palettes, highly detailed drawings, and evocative storytelling. She captures animals with emotion and soul. Christina’s art resonates with audiences on both an emotional and intellectual level with her realistic pet portraits, still life, and landscapes. This exhibition marks an exciting opportunity to experience her latest pieces in person and engage with the artist herself during the opening. Christina Maschke is an active member of the Sherman Artists Association. Exhibition Dates: April 5th – April 30th

This is a two-day course (plus a day for glazing) where you will throw one piece of pottery on the wheel, & trim the base during the second visit. You can glaze your piece at your leisure once it’s out of the kiln. $245 per couple. Needs a minimum of 2 couples to run this class. BYOB and a snack to share to make it more fun! BYOB
