Village Center for the Arts Presents: “Don’t Forget 2 Live” Featuring Richie Nigro
Saturday, March 7th from 6:30–8:00 PM.

Village Center for the Arts (VCA), located at 12 Main Street in New Milford, CT is proud to present “Don’t Forget 2 Live”, a gallery exhibition featuring artist Richie Nigro (also known as RFX Art). The opening reception will take place on Saturday, March 7th from 6:30–8:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

Richie Nigro is an award-winning tattoo artist whose creative work extends beyond skin to canvas. Originally from Long Island, NY, and raised in Danbury, CT, Richie brings a bold, high-energy style to his paintings, creating a vibrant world that moves between portraiture and abstract expression.

His work is driven by a lifelong passion for creativity and self-expression, drawing inspiration from music, fashion, and culture. Color, design, and emotion are central to his pieces, which reflect both personal storytelling and a universal connection to living fully in the moment.

“Don’t Forget 2 Live” invites viewers to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the joy and presence of creating. Through dynamic compositions and vibrant color, Richie’s work encourages us to celebrate life and the beauty of creative freedom.

Dirty Date Night

Dirty Date Night Saturday, January 10th 6:30-9:30 PM Grab someone special and come get dirty….with clay! This is a two-day course (plus a day for glazing) where you will throw one piece of pottery on the wheel, & trim the base during the second visit. You can glaze your piece at your leisure once it’s out of the kiln. $245 per couple. Needs a minimum of 2 couples to run this class. BYOB and a snack to share to make it more fun! This is a great chance to try the pottery wheel and get your hands in some clay. We show you how, then you get on the wheel right away. This class is perfect for all ages—little ones are welcome to sit on their parent’s lap and join the fun. Great for groups or families!!
