Seekers’ Songs – Guitar & Oboe Chamber Music Concert

Oboist Anna Hendrickson, known for her soulful and accomplished playing, and guitarist Kenneth Meyer, whom the Washington Post hailed “a thinking man’s guitarist [who] plays with impressive gravity and power” join forces as a chamber duo for an engaging evening of contemporary classical music. The program features a premiere by composer Gregory Mertl who has had a long-running connection with these two wonderful musicians. He has had the privilege of composing for each of them separately, but this is the first time he writes music for them as a duo.
