Poppy Project Honoring Fallen Veterans

| You are invited to the dedication of the Field of Poppies organized by the Garden Club of New Milford. A short dedication ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 1:00 pm on the New Milford Green at the All-War Memorial. The poppies will remain on display for the following week.
Volunteers from New Milford and surrounding towns have knit or crocheted ~ 2,000 poppies. The Garden Club of New Milford then assembled them on their stems (sticks), making this a true community effort. We believe that we may be the first community in Connecticut to create a Field of Poppies |
