Blessing of the Animals Returns to New Milford This Sunday
New Milford—The annual Blessing of the Animals will take place this Sunday from 2–4 PM on the Green, inviting residents to bring pets of all shapes and sizes for a moment of gratitude and joy. Clergy will offer individual blessings, celebrating the companionship animals bring to daily life.
Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and the occasional adventurous reptile are all welcome. Even those without pets are encouraged to stop by and enjoy an afternoon of community, laughter, and creature‑filled charm.
