Legacy of Light: Memories of the Holocaust for a New Generation is a group of volunteer women who share stories of their parents’ experiences in the Holocaust. We have crafted stories that we hope will enlighten and educate. We hope to pass on lessons of resilience, survival, and hope. Legacy of Light is committed to preserving our family histories in order to build a more tolerant future free of prejudice and hate.
Our participants at the New Milford Public Library represent Holocaust experiences from the following countries:
