SUMMARY:Good Rockin' Marty & his Blues Combo
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday May 6th at 7pm as we welcome : Good Rockin Marty & his Blues Combo featuring Ryan Hartt \nGood Rockin’ Marty Finch is considered one of America’s premier blues harmonica musicians in the “Big Walter” style. He blows the roof off of traditional Chicago\, Texas\, Memphis\, and West Coast Blues. Marty has performed with some of the blues legends including Big Walter Horton\, Otis Rush\, Tommy Tucker\, Brian “Hash Brown” Calway\, Barrelhouse Chuck and has opened for James Cotton and Johnny Winter. Marty brings the big toned East Coast blues harmonica school to life – his skills were honed in NYC mentored by Paul Oscher\, Bill Dicey\, and Danny Russo along with other notable NYC blues performers. \nRyan Hartt – guitars – is an excellent harmonicist\, vocalist\, bandleader\, and plays a mean guitar. Ryan Hartt and his band\, the Blue Hearts\, have three CDs on the Far Tone label. You can hear is music on Spotify. Marty is thrilled to have Ryan share the stage. It’s rare to be both an excellent harmonicist and guitarist. \nAlan Winshell – drums – is a seasoned blues roots professional that plays with a great feel and really swings. Al and Marty have been playing together on and off over forty years. \nSlamming Scotty – upright and electric bass – is a great new addition to the band switching between acoustic and electric bass seamlessly. \n
