We will gather at the monument beginning at 8:00 am. The service is open to the public and will begin promptly at 8:46 am. \nThe Memorial Service program: \nThe Water Witch Hose Co. 2 will toll the Bell 9 times\, then 11 times at 8:46 a.m. \nNew Milford Police\, Ambulance and Fire Departments assist the VFW Post 1672 and the American Legion Ezra Woods Post 31 with the changing of the colors. \nThe National Anthem \nPledge Allegiance to the Flag \nOffering of an Invocation \nLocal and State Officials will offer Brief Memorials \nGod Bless America \nCommemorative Tokens of Gratitude given to Ceremony Participants and Organizations \nPiper Patrick Maguire will play Amazing Grace

DESCRIPTION:This show will be held at The Silo\, 44 Upland Road\, New Milford\, CT 06776. \nGala opening will be 6:30- 8:30pm Saturday Sept 11th\, and additional viewing Sunday Sept 12th from noon to 4:00pm. \nVCA invites you to view a compilation of work completed by our camp artists. \nEven with all that is going on through this tough time\, our artists persevered\, creating amazing works of art. From sculptures\, to paintings\, to mosaics and more\, it is truly amazing to watch their concepts and ideas come to life. While developing new skills\, or enhancing existing ones\, these artists expanded their self-confidence\, helping them overcome obstacles\, and gained an understanding of planning to completion. \nThis is a show of recognition and acknowledgement of these artists’ hard work and dedication. \nWe want to thank Alessandro Piovezahn of the Silo for hosting this great event.\nWe ask that all attendees bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to New Milford Social Services.\nMasks will be required.

DESCRIPTION:We are happy to announce The Four Horsemen are coming back on Saturday\, September 18th at 6:30PM! Band members include David Ray\, Mike Latini\, Dave Goldenberg and George Mallas. David has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry—Roger McGuinn\, Joan Osborne and John Leventhal just to name a few. Along with Lyle Lovett\, Richie Havens\, Julie Gold and others\, his early Fast Folk recordings are now in the permanent collection at The Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. \nMike Latini grew up performing his music in New York City and Boston. His immediately accessible music\, engaging personal style and unique lyrical perspective enable him to ride the rails from the sublime to the ridiculous\, and make all the stops in between. Mike’s storytelling is second to none. He will soon release his third CD titled “Iron City\,” on the heels of two previous critically acclaimed releases “Ace LaVida” and “Ace Rides Again.” \nDave Goldenberg is a satirical singer-songwriter who has opened for comedians Joan Rivers\, Robert Kelin\, Judy Gold and Paul Reiser\, along with such musical artists as Steve Forbert\, Jill Sobule\, Vance Gilbert and others in CT. His songs not only tickle your funny bone\, but make you stop and take notice of some of the absurdities in our day-to-day lives. Dave’s music video “Goin’ to a Tea Party” was picked up by the Huffington Post and has been viewed by thousands on YouTube. He is a crowd favorite and will leave you laughing and smiling. \nGeorge Mallas has been writing and playing his piano-based songs since his teen years. George’s musical influences are some of the greats\, such as Joni Mitchell\, Jackson Browne and James Taylor. His melodic songs touch your heartstrings on subjects of love\, longing and redemption. George has released two CDs\, the latest his wonderfully received “unscathed.” George hosts the weekly radio show “The Songwriters’ Block” along with Melanie Berti\, heard Wednesday evenings on Pawling Public Radio. \nReservations Required. Smith: Bass\, slide guitar\, T-Bone Piazza: Drums \nDelusions of Grandeur plays a mix of Blues\, Classic Rock and original material. The emphasis is on good-time music that engages the audience. They have been playing in venues throughout Connecticut since 2006.
