DESCRIPTION:Join R.A.M at the JCC on June 28th for a jammin’ good time! This trio has been together for more than 5 years\, singing and playing songs from the 1960’s and 1970’s. Its time to listen to some feel good music and be with friends! \n—————– \nBand Members: \nGeorge Potts (Guitar & Vocals)\, has been a resident of Kent\, CT for the past 49 years.  He is most often been seen performing & recording as a member of the NWCT acoustic quartet\, the JOINT CHIEFS\, as a bassist accompanying singer WANDA HOUSTON\, as a solo singer/songwriter\, and in various duos and trios\, including Random Access Memory.  His first solo cd\, “Ends and Odds”\, was released in late 2022\, and got as high as #17 on the FAI Folk Music charts (he is still waiting for a check….). \nConnecticut native\, and multi-instrumentalist Gordon Titcomb (Guitar & Vocals) has spent the last 30 years touring and/or recording with a number of the world’s best known musical entertainers including Paul Simon\, Arlo Guthrie\, the late Peter Yarrow & Noel “Paul” Stookey\, Hank Williams Jr.\, Peter Rowan\, and Bill Keith.  An in-demand accompanist\, his instruments include guitar\, mandolin\, banjo\, dobro and pedal steel.  He currently makes his home in Woodbury\, CT. \nBrooklyn-born Lenie Colacino (Bass Guitar & Vocals) starred as “Paul” in the original production of BEATLEMANIA on Broadway and later toured the world with the show.  He later founded the well-known tribute band\, The Cast of Beatlemania.  Lately he can be found occasionally playing bass with Jay & the Americans.  Lenie lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife\, Barbara and their dog\, Trooper.

DESCRIPTION:Spend an evening with Lisa Stephen Friday: Author\, Composer\, and New York Voices commissioned artist with Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater.   \nCo-Sponsor Theodore W. Hine will be hosting a pre-show Wine and Cheese reception starting at 6:00 PM. All ticket holders are welcome to enjoy the idyllic setting of Merryall Arts Center with a glass of cheer overlooking the West Aspetuck. \nTransmission Short Documentary on Lisa  \nAs a child of the 80’s\, Lisa’s artistic aesthetic is highly influenced by the early days of MTV and the post punk era of pop music. Lisa’s songwriting career is now in its third decade\, with her most notable work coming in the early 2000’s as the front woman and songwriter for the NYC based rock-n-roll band Lisa Jackson and Girl Friday. After a 10 year hiatus from writing and performing\, Lisa returned to NYC and the Joe’s Pub Stage to showcase her one woman musical TRANS AM and the concert version of the new musical Doll/Girl \, which she has co-created with Joseph Ritsch. Lisa is also a 2025 recipient of an artist grant through the New York State Council on the Arts\, in support of TRANS AM.

DESCRIPTION:This workshop is for all the Swifties in our community! Join Andrea Dener and learn how to make colorful and fun friendship bracelets! Wear them around for a pop of color in the summer\, or to Taylor’s next gig! This 2 hour class is for ages 5-17. Any child under the age of 8 must have a guardian stay and help them with their bracelets! This workshop is $15 with an additional $10 materials fee paid to Andrea Dener the day of class. You are welcome to create as many bracelets as you can in the two hours you have! We can’t wait to see what you create!
