After moving to Queens\, his art transformed from street murals to canvas\, allowing him to explore deeper emotional themes and personal growth. \nIn 2023\, during a pivotal time in his life\, Don entered a rehabilitation program where he rediscovered art as a source of healing and self-expression. This period became a catalyst for his renewed purpose\, leading to a body of work that is both vulnerable and empowering. This experience further empowered him to unearth his unique artistic voice and language. \n“I believe everybody has a creative side\, whether they know it or not\,” he says. “It’s their own form of expression.” \nJoin us at Village Center for the Arts in celebrating Don’s journey and powerful artwork this December. His exhibit serves as a reminder of art’s ability to heal\, connect\, and transform.\nDon’s paintings will be available to view for the month of December.

Reid spent five years as part of the Faith Church worship team and two years at Walnut Hill\, where she developed as both a vocalist and performer. With a deep love for singing\, Nancy brings her passion and energy to every audience she meets.\nImmediately following the Carol Sing is Water Witch’s beloved and much-anticipated Parade of Lights. \nFill the night with music\, laughter\, and a whole lot of cheer. DESCRIPTION:Join NYC duo Norman (Real Stormin) Zamcheck (composer\, vocalist\, keyboard) & Andrew Livingston (upright bass)\, ⅔ of Bride of Science\, for an acoustic concert described as upbeat\, unique\, & eclectic\, featuring a humorous & folk feel. \nThe group\, ​​Bride of Science\, is the acoustic outlet of pianist composer Norman (Real Stormin) Zamcheck’s prodigious songwriting outlet. – 800 compositions & counting! Norman Zamcheck & Andrew Livingston\, ⅔ of Bride of Science will perform as a duo at the JCC Saturday February 28th at 7pm. \nBride of Science is a nearly half century collaboration between multi-guitarist Mat Kastner and Norm Zamcheck. College classmates\, they met sophomore year\, traveled southward after graduation with an eclectic rock band called “Milkweed\,” and continued to jam together over the years. They had their Nashville debut at Douglass Corner Cafe in 2023. Over the years Mat\, whose specialty is bluegrass and folk\, has lent his gifts to nearly all Norm’s songs\, and has contributed to nearly all of Norm’s 8 album releases over the past decade. Accompanying them is Andrew Livingston\, on upright bass.
