SUMMARY:A Conversation on CT Energy Costs
DESCRIPTION:Senate Minority Leader Stephen Harding and Representative Pat Callahan are welcoming State Senator Ryan Fazio to Danbury to host a “A Conversation on CT Energy Costs.” The discussion is being held on Monday\, May 19th from 7:00PM to 8:30PM at Broadview Middle School (72 Hospital Avenue\, Danbury). The event is free and open to the public and will include a Q&A on energy following a presentation on affordable solutions!\n\nWe highly encourage your attendance as a community member and Connecticut resident. Connecticut has the second highest energy costs in the continental United States (third highest in the entire country)\, burdening families\, seniors\, individuals on fixed incomes\, and businesses/industry across Connecticut. Senator Fazio will be sharing a brief history of the issue\, cost estimates\, and most importantly solutions to lower the price of electricity in Connecticut.
