Feast on Your Favorites at the\nMayor’s First Annual Food Truck Festival at Litchfield\nCrossings on May 4 th \, noon to 5 pm\nEvent is co-sponsored by Litchfield Crossings and the Town of New Milford to\nbenefit New Milford Youth Sports\nNew Milford\, Ct. It’s food\, fabulous food at New Milford’s first annual\nFood Truck Festival on May 4 th from noon to 5:00 pm\, co-sponsored by\nthe Town of New Milford and Litchfield Crossings to benefit the\nTown’s Youth Sports. Sip and savor from a menu of flavors\, including\nlobster rolls\, chowder\, crepes\, barbeque\, or maybe a delicious potpourri\nof dumplings topped off by an array of sweet stuff\nlike cookies and cones. Swing and sway all afternoon to the music\nprovided by DJ Beth Conkey.\nIn addition to gastronomic offerings\, Petco will host a special dog food\ntasting featuring JustForDogs\, the country’s number #1 Vet\nrecommended frozen dog food. So\, bring Fido\, he’ll be licking his chops\nfor more.\nFor younger attendees\, the festival will feature a magical collection of\nInflatables courtesy of SuperFun Inflatables. While mom and dad are\ndining\, tots\, tweens\, and teens can whiz down two-lane super slides\, run\nobstacle courses\, bounce around\, and explore fantasy castles. Then\, take \na selfie with a best friend or a spin at the art/paint machine. And frame\nboth to take home as a memento of a fun-filled day.\n“We are pleased to partner with Litchfield Crossings to present the 1 st\nAnnual New Milford Food Truck Festival that is sure to bring joy to\nevery food lover in the area. DESCRIPTION:Join Amber Vlangas of Mindful Art and Sound for an Immersive Sound Experience \nWhat To Expect: \nGuided Meditation & Visualization\nVibrations of Crystal & Tibetan Singing Bowls\, Chimes and more.\nRelease\, Relaxation & Balance \nParticipants should wear comfortable clothes\, bring their own yoga mat\, blanket\, pillow\, eye covering and anything else to make themselves comfortable. This Sound Bath Sunday session will take place from 1-2pm. \nAbout Your Sound & Meditation Guide: Amber Vlangas\, MAT is an artist\, certified Meditation Specialist\, Mindful and Meditative ArtTeacher\, Restorative Circle-keeper\, and Sound Healer. She has always had a heart for holding space and helping others. Her work is grounded in the truth that every person has the ability to access their power\, potential\, and creativity when given the safety and encouragement they need to do so. She invites people into accessible and mindful art activities\, guided meditation\, music making\, and sound journeying to help them relax\, renew\, and open pathways to enhanced mind-body connection\, imagination\, self-awareness and overall balance. Amber holds certifications accredited by the International Mindfulness and Meditation Alliance\, The Mindful Art Alliance\, The Meditation Organization and the Complementary Medical Association.
