SUMMARY:Poppy Project Honoring Fallen Veterans
DESCRIPTION:2018 Remembrance Day Poppy Project display of handcrafted poppies in Kings Park\, Perth\n  \n\n\n\n \nYou are invited to the dedication of the Field of Poppies organized by the Garden Club of New Milford. A short dedication ceremony will be held on Sunday\, May 28\, 2023\, at 1:00 pm on the New Milford Green at the All-War Memorial. The poppies will remain on display for the following week. \nVolunteers from New Milford and surrounding towns have knit or crocheted ~ 2\,000 poppies. The Garden Club of New Milford then assembled them on their stems (sticks)\, making this a true community effort. \nWe believe that we may be the first community in Connecticut to create a Field of Poppies
