DESCRIPTION:The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) will host a First-Time Homebuyer Ownership Seminar in Danbury\, CT\, on Wednesday\, April 5th. The event will start promptly at 6:00pm and run through 7:30pm.\nThe cost of buying a home for first-time homebuyers can seem overwhelming. Luckily\, in our state the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority offers affordable mortgage loan options at a below-market interest rate to eligible applicants with little or no down payment and closing cost assistance. So\, join us for our First-Time Homebuyer Seminar in Danbury\, Connecticut on Wednesday\, April 5th\, at the Maron Hotel and Suites in Danbury\, CT. Our Senior Business Development Officer\, Brian Boyaji will provide attendees with a brief overview of CHFA programs\, such as Time to Own which offers eligible applicants up to $50\,000 in down payment assistance towards their first home. Furthermore\, CHFA representatives will provide information on the MyHomeCT program which offers eligible Connecticut homeowners who experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic monetary assistance for mortgage delinquencies\, unpaid property taxes and other qualified expenses associated with owning a home.\nWe encourage everyone to attend this free event.
