DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the 9 – 11 – 2001 Memorial Ceremony on Saturday\, September 11\, 2021 at the 9-11 monument located in Patriots Way Plaza overlooking Young’s Field. We will gather at the monument beginning at 8:00 am. The service is open to the public and will begin promptly at 8:46 am. \nThe Memorial Service program: \nThe Water Witch Hose Co. 2 will toll the Bell 9 times\, then 11 times at 8:46 a.m. \nNew Milford Police\, Ambulance and Fire Departments assist the VFW Post 1672 and the American Legion Ezra Woods Post 31 with the changing of the colors. \nThe National Anthem \nPledge Allegiance to the Flag \nOffering of an Invocation \nLocal and State Officials will offer Brief Memorials \nGod Bless America \nCommemorative Tokens of Gratitude given to Ceremony Participants and Organizations \nPiper Patrick Maguire will play Amazing Grace

DESCRIPTION:This show will be held at The Silo\, 44 Upland Road\, New Milford\, CT 06776. \nGala opening will be 6:30- 8:30pm Saturday Sept 11th\, and additional viewing Sunday Sept 12th from noon to 4:00pm. \nVCA invites you to view a compilation of work completed by our camp artists. \nEven with all that is going on through this tough time\, our artists persevered\, creating amazing works of art. From sculptures\, to paintings\, to mosaics and more\, it is truly amazing to watch their concepts and ideas come to life. While developing new skills\, or enhancing existing ones\, these artists expanded their self-confidence\, helping them overcome obstacles\, and gained an understanding of planning to completion. \nThis is a show of recognition and acknowledgement of these artists’ hard work and dedication. \nWe want to thank Alessandro Piovezahn of the Silo for hosting this great event.\nWe ask that all attendees bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to New Milford Social Services.\nMasks will be required.
